Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") form an agreement between you and Selune ("we", "us"). By downloading or using Selune (the "app"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What Selune is

Selune is a daily affirmations app. It shows you affirmations, lets you favorite and write your own, schedules gentle reminders, and offers widgets and personalization. Everything you create runs and stays on your device. There is no account and no backend server of ours. The free version is supported by advertising delivered by Google, and Selune Pro removes it.

Selune Pro and purchases

Selune offers an optional upgrade, Selune Pro, that removes the advertising and unlocks every category and theme, more daily reminders, all widget sizes, and a custom affirmations editor. Selune Pro is available as:

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel a subscription anytime in the iOS Settings app under your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the current period. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. The lifetime purchase is a single charge with nothing recurring to manage.

All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store using your Apple ID. Selune never sees your payment details. Purchases are subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. You can restore a previous purchase at any time with the "Restore Purchases" button on the upgrade screen. Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us.

Acceptable use

Use Selune for your own personal, non-commercial wellbeing. Do not attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the app or its content except as permitted by law.

Advertising

The free version of Selune shows advertising supplied by the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Before any advert is loaded, the app presents Google’s User Messaging Platform consent form and iOS asks its own App Tracking Transparency question. You may change or withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future under Settings inside the app, entry Ad privacy options in the About section. Buying Selune Pro removes the advertising altogether. We give no guarantee as to which adverts a network serves, and we are not the contractual partner for anything advertised in them.

Privacy

Everything you write, favorite and track in Selune stays on your device. There is no account and no server of ours, and the app contains no analytics SDK and no crash reporting SDK. The advertising described above is the one part that involves a third party, and it never receives the content you create. See our Privacy Policy for details.

This website

These pages use Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless. It sets no identifier and builds no profile. It counts page views and clicks on the App Store button, together with the place of that button on the page and the path of the page. No visitor is evaluated on a personal basis and nothing from it is passed on to third parties. The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA; its privacy policy is at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Selune is a wellbeing and motivation app. Its content is for general encouragement only and is not medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice. It is not a substitute for professional care. If you are struggling, please reach out to a qualified professional.

Disclaimer of warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
