Frequently asked questions

How do reminders work?

Selune sends gentle reminders at the times and frequency you choose. They are scheduled as local notifications on your device, so they keep arriving reliably without any internet connection. Tap a reminder and it opens the exact affirmation it showed you. To enable or adjust them, open Settings inside Selune. If reminders are not arriving, make sure notifications are allowed for Selune in the iOS Settings app under Notifications, and that Focus or Do Not Disturb is not silencing them.

How do I restore my purchase?

If you reinstall Selune or set up a new device, open the app, go to the Selune Pro or upgrade screen, and tap Restore Purchases. As long as you are signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase, your access to Selune Pro will be restored. Purchases are tied to your Apple ID, not to any account with us.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple through your Apple ID, not within Selune. To cancel:

You will keep access until the end of the current billing period. If you purchased the one-time lifetime option instead of a subscription, there is nothing to cancel and nothing recurring to manage.

What does the free version include?

The free version of Selune is genuinely useful and stays that way. It is paid for by advertising: a banner at the bottom edge of the app, and a single full screen advert that can appear after you close the share sheet. That full screen advert never appears during your first session and never less than three minutes after the previous one. Selune Pro removes the advertising and unlocks every category and theme, more daily reminders, all widget sizes, and a custom affirmations editor.

How do I change or withdraw my advertising consent?

Open Settings inside Selune and tap Ad privacy options in the About section. That reopens Google’s consent form, where you can change or withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. The entry is shown wherever Google’s consent framework offers that form. Buying Selune Pro removes the advertising altogether. Our Privacy Policy sets out what the advertising processes and who the provider is.

Where is my data stored?

Everything you write, favorite and track stays on your device. There is no account and no server of ours, and Selune contains no analytics SDK and no crash reporting SDK. The free version does load advertising from Google, and only after you have been asked for your consent; that advertising never receives the content you create. See our Privacy Policy for details.

What does this website measure?

These pages use Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless. It sets no identifier and builds no profile. It counts page views and clicks on the App Store button, together with the place of that button on the page and the path of the page. No visitor is evaluated on a personal basis and nothing from it is passed on to third parties.
